By hire car

Leave the airport following the signs to Yaiza (Playa Blanca) joining the LZ-2 duel carriageway, continue as the road ascends towards the town of Tias on the left. Stay on the duel carriageway passed Tias following the signs for Playa Blanca as the road becomes a single lane. Continue straight through the village of Macher passed the turning to Puerto Calero on the left and then the village of Uga on the right. You then reach a large roundabout , take an immediate first exit signed for Playa Blanca and continue on the LZ-2 for some 15 kilometres. As you enter Playa Blanca there are two roundabouts, at the first take the third exit, directly pass the petrol station and down the hill. At the second roundabout take the first exit right, pass the bus station and take an immediate right, Las Brisas is 100m on the left. The journey will take approximately 35 minutes.

Recommendation for car hire are local companies Autoreisen or Cabrera Medina. The general consensus from visitors is that Goldcar car hire company should be avoided.

By taxi

The taxi rank is directly outside the airport terminal. Cost is approximately €50 each way.

By private transfer

You can arrange a private transfer from Vivatransfers.com, your driver will be waiting for you in the arrivals hall, holding a sign with your name or with the name "Viva Transfers". The cost for two passengers and cases is approximately £48 each way. When booking online location is from 'Lanzarote airport (Arrecife) (ACE)' to 'Apartments Las Brisas Resort, Playa Blanca'

By public transport

The bus number 161 runs from Arrecife airport to Playa Blanca. The airport bus stop is immediately outside the airport doors just ahead of the taxi rank. The route takes in Matagora, Puerto del Carman, Puerto Calero and Yaiza en route and takes approximately one hour. Las Brisas is 100m across the road from the bus station (Estacion de Gauguas de Playa Blanca).

The 161 operates from 7.30 until 21.30 Monday to Friday generally with a half hourly service (hourly after 16.30). On Saturday it operates an hourly service on the hour from 8.00 to 20.00. On Sundays and Festival days it operates the same hours as Saturday, but is a two hourly service.
